Central Bank of Oklahoma opened its doors for business on January 20, 2000 as Oklahoma National Bank. As the founders set out to raise the capital needed to start the Bank, they built a network of diverse relationships among families that embody the spirit of Oklahoma. It is through that spirit that Oklahoma National Bank experienced unprecedented growth, earning the distinction as one of the fastest growing banks in Oklahoma history.

In December 2004, Oklahoma National Bank became a state-chartered bank which resulted in the changing of our name to ONB Bank and Trust Company. On April 2, 2007, ONB was acquired by Central Bancompany, a holding company with over $8.5 billion in assets. This acquisition allowed us to widen our array of products and services while retaining local decision-making.

In 2015, we changed our name to Central Bank of Oklahoma. This change strengthens our connection to other banks in the Central Bancompany family. This uniformity reflects our ongoing commitment to technology and convenience for our customers.

As Central Bank of Oklahoma moves into the future, we remain committed to the fundamental values and beliefs that have made us a success and will continue to focus on meeting the financial needs of the communities we serve.
